Harlan began selling real estate as a full-time agent in 1992 and was a success from the start. In his first year, he had nearly $2 million in sales. Fast forward to today and Harlan has helped over 2,000 families buy and sell homes in the greater Rochester area.
Harlan has been one of New York State’s Leading RE/MAX Agents for nearly 20 years. He has also been included in the RE/MAX International “Lifetime Achievement” Award recipient list.
Harlan was raised in the real estate industry.
Helping you find the perfect home is in Harlan’s blood. Real estate was something he grew up with. His mother, Naomi, and sister Barbara, had began their real estate careers in the 1970’s. Between the three, they have been licensed in seven states and managed for three of the ten largest real estate companies in America.
He’s a handy guy to have around.
His experience and insight go deep in real estate – not only as a sales agent. Harlan has helped build homes, too. Harlan’s grandfather built homes, his brother builds homes and his first job out of college involved swinging a hammer. There’s no better way to experience real estate than from the foundation up – and Harlan has that experience literally.
Harlan’s passion for photography makes for a powerhouse combination with his real estate career. His photo work began in his college days, and continues today. He stays on top of latest trends in photography and enjoys taking photos for his personal enjoyment – some of which have been awarded recognition.
Harlan is a family man.
Harlan enjoys his family and is very proud of his children, Alexis and Austin. They are often nearby, pitching in at open houses, stuffing envelopes or helping plant nearly 5,000 American Flags on July 4th. He’s works hard to instill the values of dedication and pride in one’s work and community.
